You Can Give The Gift Of Reading.......

One would think that in the great USA we don't have a problem getting books in the hands of anyone who wants to read. Well sad to say that's not so, we do still have a problem in urban and rural areas. What can you do? you can donate new books or give an old book that's in good condiction a new life. We have many schools and libraries that are so inadequted that they can't help those in need.
Please join with MMI in giving the gift of reading, make reading just one page way for everyone.

Wierzbicki's poems are like early Corso, before the Beats, when he got straight to the point quickly, with great beauty. Her words carry the necessary freight with terrific speed and economy--look how spare and yet terribly lovely "Dorothy's Poem" is--it breaks your heart with absolute efficiency. If poetry is to proceed into the future with any sort of relevancy, this is one way it might do so.--RON KOLM, co-author of Neo Phobe (with Jim Feast)

Her work has been published in Long Shot, The Cafe Review, Public Illumination, and Evergreen Review, and in the Unbearables anthologies Unbearables (1995), Crimes of the BeatsHelp Yourself! (2002), published by Autonomedia. She also is an editor of the Unbearables anthology, The Worst Book I Ever Read (Autonomedia). She compiled and edited Stories from the Infirmary (Universal Publishers, 1999), an anthology of fiction and poetry on chronic illness. THINK JOURNAL Now Accepts Email Submissions

THINK JOURNAL, logo with address
THINK JOURNAL is a quartely review of poetry, short stories, novel excerpts, and essays.

Submissions are welcome from rational thinkers who believe that words have meaning, and that when you deal with words, you are dealing with the mind. This journal is for those who Think. In order to do this, one must first have an I. The basic literary values that will be considered are: content and meaning; words that are logically conceived and arranged; evidence of an active imagination; structure; as well as the integration of emotional and intellectual facets. The central criterion for acceptance is merit, which will be judged based on two aspects: content and literary artistry.

"As the name might suggest, the poetry is formal, metered and carefully thought out, often dealing with classical or philosophical themes. The essays support the editorial stance. Yet the fiction (one story, one Chapter 1) is more slice-of-life."--Think Journal 1.1 Review in Iconoclast #101
