After two long years fightin dessert war
The boy came home with a mind all blurred
Nine-teen years, just an innocent kid
War turned him bitter all he saw and did
Pushing back all that chaos and rage
He spent his nights in a drunken haze
But, that couldn't fix what needed a cure
And, he'd never last or even endure
Off to the world he went searching his heart

This Hamptons photographer
takes photos of movie stars.
Other celebrities get invited
to the grand opening at a ritzy art gallery.
Regular folks have to wait outside while
famous people look at pictures
of other celebrities snapped by this artist photographer.

Country Cure - poem version
After two long years of fightin in a hot dessert war
He made it home in one piece – but his mind needed a cure.
When he left home we was just nine-teen – an innocent kid
The boy returned a bitter man –angry from things he saw and did.
Thinking the cure would be in his big city partying ways
He spent his nights out drinkin – druggin – life in a haze.
His body got sick and he realized this life offered no cure
So he packed up and left –to wander the world- home soil no more.
